Local Tube Stations Face Some of Largest Staff Cuts

Why is Ravenscourt Park, a quiet station in an affluent area, singled out to receive extra staff while all other much busier West London tube stations are to have large cuts? Is this something to do with CCTV coverage? Does anyone know?

The closure of Queen Charlottes and the redevelopment of the site into flats is probably what is being referred to. Plus could the likely increase in the number of school children from the West London Free School be a factor?

I have been using Ravenscourt Park for years, and I have not noticed any substantial increase in passenger numbers recently, even in the mornings. What "big increase in residential property" are you thinking of? There are a few new buildings nearby, but no tall apartment blocks. Some houses have probably been subdivided into flats... No huge increase that I can see.

Possibly the big increase in the amount of residential property in the area in recent years has led to the throughput of the station increasing and the requirement for more staff.
