NORTH END ROAD

In the aftermath of Elizabeth Jallum's death on the North End Road - and following another death last year and a further accident last week - there should now be a determined effort to return the shops and the market to the residents and shoppers who are its lifeblood. we saw on 6th December how the street can be successfully pedestrianised to the benefit of all. Why not make this a permenant feature?

I entirely agree with you! I went to the Christmas market on 6th December, and it was brilliant.I think that if you suggested a regular market on Saturdays and possibly on Sundays to the Leader of Hammersmith Council, Cllr Stephen Cowan, you would find that he was enthusiastic.
