H&F Incompetence AGAIN

I hope you don't lose a loved one. I've been waiting four months for a death certificate for a relative from the West London Coroner's office (run by H&F).I've called every day for 3 months+ and finally got to speak to someone yesterday for the first time (after a 40 minute wait) only to be told that I would receive a phone call back. Guess what? no return call.A Freedom of Information request 3 weeks ago resulted in a reply to the effect that NO death certificates were outstanding for the period 1.12.14 to 25.3.15. Another email to the Coroner saying this must be wrong resulted in reply which ignored their mistake and stating it would take another 20-40 days to check and reply.Who is running this shambles?

I find increasing when dealing with officialdom email and phone is not effective but they always respond best to a letter. It shouldn't be like that but perhaps they reckon if you have gone to the extra trouble you are not going to leave them alone until you get what you need.
