Hammersmith's top 10 pubs?

The definition of Hammersmith seems to be reasonably broad with the Pear Tree included so that would mean the Crabtree and the Cross Keys have been excluded on qualitative grounds rather than geographical ones. Thanks for the tip that the Salutation has a garden. I've drank in there many times and never knew!

The scores seem pretty fair although I would have included the Black Lion over the Old Ship. The Crabtree and the Carpenters Arms must be worth a mention as well.

Don't know that I would have agreed with it at the time it was published, to be honest.  But then again, these lists are always subjective.  Partially depends on what is considered "Hammersmith."  All the pubs along Kings Street seem to be excluded - The Swan, The Hop Poles and the Ram are all decent.  The Salutation has a lovely garden.  I'm surprised that the Brook Green and Smith's have such low ratings - I like both.  Wonder if the Cross Keys and Crab Tree are considered outside of Hammersmith, otherwise might consider both. Not much new in the area since this was published, I would assume - the Blue Boat at Fulham Reach being the only new pub in Hammersmith that I can think of.
