Former LBHF Councillor Tipped to Be Next Leader of Labour Party

A former Shepherd's Bush ward Councillor Lisa Nandy has been tipped to become the next leader of the Labour party. Have to confess not to having heard of her until now. That doesn't necessarily mean she wasn't effective - I know of at least one local councillor who does amazing work yet never gets much public acknowledgment (and who would be cross if I mentioned her name).

There was a story today in the Wigan Advertiser that she was about to launch a leadership bid but apparently she has now denied it.

At the Labour party conference today she is talking about creating community owned power stations. The thought of her being in charge of our energy industry, let alone the country is frightening.
