Simeon's Watch at Holy Innocents' Church
On Sunday evening, 20th November, at 7.00pm Riding Lights Theatre Company will be performing Simeon's Watch, 'an engaging new play about family. A wonderful story about growing old, discovering hope and being surprised.'The play looks at issues around ageing, family and relationships, and the writing was informed by workshops with those living with dementia either directly or in the family. It seeks to bring out notes different from the themes of loss that dominates most work on the subject. To quote an audience member from an earlier performance on the tour, the show was "Brilliantly acted, subtle, hopeful and more uplifting than you might think!" Holy Innocents' Church is on Paddenswick Road, opposite John Betts School. Tickets are £12 (£10 concs) and are available on the door.
