Trolleybuses

Could someone help to settle a dispute that I have with a friend.  We lived off Shepherds Bush Road in the 1940/50's.  The argument is - Were there ever any trolleybuses going along Shepherds Bush Road, from Hammersmith to S.Bush Green?Hope you can help.

There were three routes using Shepherd's Bush road:626: Acton - Clapham Junction628: Craven Park - Clapham Junction: 630: Harlesden - West CroydonHere is a map showing trolleybus routes in West London in 1949: http://www.trolleybus.net/fullsize/bradley/655-routemap.jpgTrolleybus routes were gradually converted to motorbus, the last ones in Hammersmith running until about 1960.

I have a trolley/tram bus map from 1947 issue 1. A 607 run from Shepherds Bush to Uxbridge.

This link doesn't totally confirm it but the 630 went from Shepherd's Bush to Wandsworth through Hammersmith so it is likely to have gone down the Shepherd's Bush Road to do that:http://www.geoffbannister.com/tod/two_routes_630.html
