Presumably you're referring to notices that warn of Suspensions of residents' parking bays? You say that you're sure that the notice was not displayed "with the statutory period beforehand", but I don't think there is any statutory period for announcing bay suspensions.I'm not sure what LBHF's normal notice periods are, but Richmond for example say they normally give 3 full days' notice. Most councils warn their residents to check for suspension signs frequently.I suggest that you ask other residents nearby if they remember when this particular suspension sign was put up. If it appears that less than 5 days' notice was given, you should challenge the PCN.
