Fly tipping at 302 King Street, Hammersmith.
Ever since the beginning of the year, there has been a slowly increasing pile of rubbish outside 302 King Street which is underneath our block of flats & opposite the Tesco Extra store. This includes broken glass & is an ugly eyesore that is apparently on private property, a couple of metres back from the regular pavement. I have been in touch about this on regular occasions with the Hammersmith & Fulham's Cleaner Greener hotline who then put me in touch with Richard Acholowino, the Public Protection & Safety Officer, whom I contacted on numerous occasions (both by phone & email) & each time he has assured me that he will take care of it. However, nothing has happened & people continue to add to the pile. Out of sheer frustration, I emailed Andy Stocker, our "Street Czar," who got back to me immediately saying he would take a look & update me in due course. That was four weeks ago & I've heard nothing & the rubbish pile keeps getting bigger & messier & is an embarrassing sight that no one seems to want to take responsibility for. With our council so far proving totally ineffectual, has anyone out there got any ideas on how we can sort out this ridiculous situation?
