Two questions. Does anyone remember John Stanley Giles who lived at Cardross Street Hammersmith in 1965? Also does anyone know when the Old Bakery at 51 Aldensley Road Hammersmith ceased to be a bakery? Regards. Neil Milkins.

Hi Carol, perhaps I have got the wrong town. The Electoral register of 1963 states Borough of Fulham. Ward or Division Barons Court. John S.Giles. 65 Cardross House. Maybe 65 was the name of the property with a small number of flats within. I know 20 Colinette Road Putney consisted of about 8 flats.Regards. Neil.

Can see there have been a few replies on the Chiswick site re this.  As already advised, the only block of flats currently in Cardross Street is the small block junction of Dalling Road
