Bulky waste collections

I’m looking to remove a couple of bulky items from my home, sofa etc and was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations? I’ve looked into using the council collection services but the wait time is too long and it doesn’t look like they have a fully service running at the minute so I would appreciate any other suggestions anyone has. Thank you!

You could try Any Junk (anyjunk.co.uk) .. they collect on behalf of a number of different councils in London.  In Ealing, it was 5 bulky items for £40. I used them recently and thought they were pretty good.  They had real time tracking of their drivers and will e-mail you with their names, vehicle and arrival times.  They usually have slots 2 or 3 days ahead.
