Good to see the council has so much spare cash...

...that it can afford to buy two big poster ads boasting about its efficiency.  At Turnham Green station, which when last I looked wasn't in the borough.

That would be paid for by the halving of the wages of estate caretakers as seen on London tonight.The closing of community centres for the elderly.The closing of 2 primary schools in Hammersmith.The slashing of funds to the law centre for the poor.The 100% increase in the cost pensioners have to pay for meals on wheels.The halving in street cleaning services.The end to pavement improvements.......This Tory council might even have enough left over to furnish their plush new offices with Conran.Enjoy it while it lasts folks.

Not to mention the de-skilling of the Library Service, closure of Hammersmith Reference Library and the Moble library....and the imposed reduction in rented social housing homes at the Genesis Housing scheme on the Prestolite site, Larden Road. What will residents spend their tiny council tax savings on?

Not to mention the closing down of 3 properties providing temporary accommodation for homeless families. Apparently they are worth far to much and would make ideal second or third homes for multi-millionaires.Rumour has it that his Lordship is going to apply to have Hammersmiths name changed to West Chelsea, [we all know how much character that has these days]But Dave's new and caring Tories are egalitarian, for the proof just look at the lovely Shaun Bailey [prospective MP]even with his 'watermelon smile' and newly born 'pickanniny'. Now that's a party that cares.
