This is on the corner of Stamford Book Road and Paddenswick Road. The last couple of days that I have been past on the 94 bus on the way back from work it has had the blinds down and no lights on.This seems to suggest that it has closed. Does anyone know anything more?

The new owner/manager of the Pacific posted the changes on the Chiswick site some time ago. It is to be a more traditional pub, I believe. He was inviting local people for some free tasters when it opens.

Passing by on the bus yesterday, I see refurbishment is occurring at the Pacific Bar and Grill but.....as far as I can see the Mulberry has now closed.I hope I didn't jinx it.

The site is an awkward one as there is little parking in the area and its not where you would get a lot of passersby. It is really made for a good quality local boozer for the Stamford Brook area but the likely clientele will have moved elsewhere (pub-wise) by now.

Noted - and the Mulberry appears to be alive and well. Sorry for the confusion.I always get those two roads mixed up.

Still looks absolutely dead in the water...it's actually at junction of Stamford Bk Ave and Goldhawk Rd. The one at Paddenswick/Goldhawk is Mulberry [previously the Seven Stars].

Thanks Andrew,There doesn't seem to be any life there so I can't see what (if anything) is going to replace it.Not the best of all locations, though.

Yes, it closed before Christmas.A shame, it was the only place I know of in West London (apart from the Princess Victoria) where they sold properly aged, decently cooked steak.Their chips were always crap, though.
