Not everything in the garden is so lovely

I have read the posts on the improved state of Ravenscourt Park and commented on the state of other open spaces in the Borough. I refer particularly to the small space in Crisp Road directly opposite Riverside StudiosUnfortunately I have posted it to the wrong site and buried it. I do not have the time or the energy to retype it all . I can only hope that some people will read it and that a member of the Council may even act upon it

Thank you for taking the time to forward my recent posting. The space I refer to is very small and adjoins the Queen Caroline Estate. The space is on the corner of Chancellors Street and Crisp Road and is directly opposite Riverside Studios. In the past it was very pleasant and people often used to sit there. Now it absolutely reeks of dog shit. Most of the planting has been uprooted , litter and fly tipping is a constant problem and at night it attracts various "types" that make it feel reather unsafe to walk through.Yet another facility in the borough that has been lost due to lack of care and attention and a capitulation to the yob element that now seems to live in our midst

I don't know the open space you are referring to but do fully understand your frustrations.  I have emailed the posting you made on the thread re Ravenscourt Park looking good to one of our councillors who has been extremely helpful to me in the past.  Will let you know if I hear anything.
