Major Incident in Hammersmith NOW

There are reports that there is a incident in Hammersmith happening at the moment, outside Argos.There has been police in riot uniform spotted, and there are lots of police cars and vans, ambulances and fire brigade in the area.The police are letting buses through but not too sure about other traffic.Be careful if your in or around the Hammersmith area.Steve

King Street is currently closed due to a major Police incident.Unconfirmed reports claim that a person has barricaded themselves into an office in the Town Hall and is threatening to burn it down. Traffic is currently backed up on all approach roads around Hammersmith Roundabout.We have asked both Hammersmith Police and LBH&F Council for comment on the situation.We will update this article with information when we receive it.
