Well had me giggling.  Actually this morning as I was crossing Goldhawk Road, although the large sign was flashing that the road was closed, cars and lorries were heading towards Seven Stars.  If they all ended up going down Wingate Road I would imagine the queue is still there.

Poor signage!!! I don't think so. There's a vast flashing sign on Goldhawk Road about the road closure. It couldn't be any bigger without taking off.

In this case isn't the problem that too many people have cars that are too big for London's residential streets?

Having driven up Wingate Road this week I'm glad I avoided the wrath of Mr. Prynn. He has a point although the people he had a go at may well, like me, have had a legitimate reason for being there. The problem is caused by the lack of advance warning of these works, poor publicity and poor signage.
