Is Crime on the Increase in Hammersmith?

Another shooting incident last night in Shepherd's Bush according to shepherdsbushw12.com. This is one of a series recently in the area some of which seem to have gone unreported. We have our Council propaganda sheet telling us constantly about reduced crime and increased numbers of police officers but it does feel like our streets are getting safer. Crime and particularly gun crime feels like it is getting out of hand in the borough.

Hate to say this but I do believe that in some cases the punishment does not necessarily fit the crime which may be why more people are resorting to it!

Possibly but as I said some of the incidents I've heard of haven't been reported anywhere. My impression is that there has been more over the last six months.
