TV Centre.

Having lost the chance when Lime Grove studios closed could I ask the council or an entrepreneur, or even the publicly funded BBC, to consider building a BBC history and TV museum on part of the soon-to-be sold TV Centre. It would prove an excellent local attraction,and reflect our locality rather more than Westfield. Ideas and support please.

Great idea Michael! What an iconic building it seems such a shame that the BBC is going to sell it off. It makes no economic sense to relocate to various parts of the country, and although the BBC do have numerous premises in London this one was the most well known I think, after the Shepherds Bush Empire - which they sold off years ago.Given half the chance I am sure most of the BBC staff would have preferred to remain at the BBC Centre in Wood Lane!
