Council Housing Policy

'I am an Investigative Journalism MA student at City University'As your faculty was responsible for the McAlpine report on newsnight it is probably too much to expect that this will be anything other than a hatchet job on LBHF. If so you will have no trouble getting it printed in a broadsheet - the Independent is happy to publish anything negative about the Council as they did with Johann Hari's fabrications.I'm sure your investigations will find many cases of families who have been forced to leave the borough because the Government's cap on housing benefit if that is your theme. What you would need to explain for it to be a genuinely good article rather than a polemic is why this is of more of a concern than families that aren't on benefits that need to move out because of the cost of housing.

Dear Karen Thank you for your response. Sorry I wasn't clear initially.I am an Investigative Journalism MA student at City University and the feature will be part of my thesis. If it is good enough then I may be able to get it into one of the broadsheets but at this time the article is for academic purposes.
