H&F Propagandising the Borough's Youth

Buzz the Council magazine aimed at younger people in the borough has just come out. A headline reads 'Better Schools with More Local Choices' when actually we live in a borough with one of the most limited range of choices for local people.If this was a Labour council I'm sure the Taxpayers Alliance would be all over this but I doubt we will hear a peep from them.

I would agree that public funds should not be wasted on this kind of stuff particularly when hard choices are having to be made about cuts elsewhere.However, the statement 'Better Schools with More Local Choices' seems fairly uncontentious to me. Are schools have been improving across the board and there are more opening. Far from there being a limited choice in the borough we have a terrific range of high quality schools of all types and most people seem to find a good fit.
