Would anyone be interested in a 'How to be a freelance writer' class in Chiswick?
Hi everyone,I am a freelance journalist with more than six years of experience working for various nationals. I would like to run a 'How to be a freelance writer' class in Chiswick, covering issues such as, how to pitch ideas successfully, how to stand out from the crowd, the dos and don'ts to get writing commissions and so forth, and I am looking to see if there would be interest for such a class in the area? I'm thinking of holding the class at St Michael and All Angels Church and Parish Hall near Turnham Green station, convenient if you're coming from Hammersmith. I'd hold regular classes covering different areas of freelance journalism depending on the interests of the participants – is there anything anyone would be keen to learn? In terms of prices for classes, it would be good to know how much anyone interested would be looking to pay for a two-three hour workshop a time or for a discounted price for perhaps two or three two-three hour workshops.Any thoughts (and spreading the world to people who might be interested) would be much appreciated. Thank you very much for your time on this. For more information, please email me at w4writingclass@gmail.com.Best wishes,Sophie
