Emerging playwright Ben Wendel brings his debut work Anthropocene to the Barons Court Theatre this August, tackling the emotional undercurrents of climate anxiety through a blend of drama, movement, and multimedia storytelling.

Running from Wednesday 13 to Sunday 17 August as part of the Camden Fringe Festival, the production aims to offers a timely reflection on what it means to grow up in a world grappling with environmental collapse.

Anthropocene follows Diana, a young woman grieving the death of her mother, who died of cancer. Directed by Emily Hawkins (As If You Know Me) and James Christensen (Apocalypse Bear), the piece stars Rosie Yates, Naomi Paxton, and Jasper Price—performers known for their work in contemporary and experimental theatre.
