Hammersmith’s King Street is set to host a Summer Street  Festival on Saturday 7 June and local traders and creators are now being invited to apply for a stall.

The festival, which has now become a hugely popular annual tradition attracting thousands of visitors, will once again see the town centre closed to traffic, with over 100 pop up stalls selling arts, crafts, jewellery, vintage, candles, home accessories, cupcakes and much more.

There will also be an international food quarter with a seating area on Lyric Square, live music, children’s workshops and street entertainment.

Hammersmith & Fulham Council says potential traders can apply for a range of pitches, including pre-built stalls which the council will provide, spaces for their own gazebos and some limited spaces for vehicle traders. Location requests will be granted on a first come first served basis.

A Summer Festival is also taking place on Fulham’s North End Road on Saturday July 12  and traders can apply for stalls at either or both markets using the same form, to be found here.

The deadline for applications is Friday April 4 and council says it will confirm the outcome  by no later than Friday April 18

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.
