The Hackney Flea Market
July 13, 2026
A brand-new event will make its debut later this year, as The Giant West London Flea launches beneath the Hammersmith Flyover.
The one-day event, created by the team behind the Hackney Flea Market, takes place on Saturday 26 September at Sussex Place Car Park, W6 9PJ, transforming an overlooked slice of urban infrastructure into a destination for vintage hunters, design fans and curious weekend explorers.
Set under the vast concrete sweep of the flyover, the market will bring together more than 100 specialist traders from across the country, offering a mix of antique décor, architectural salvage, period fixtures, vintage furniture, lighting, garden pieces, fashion, house-clearance finds and the kind of unexpected treasures that have long made London’s flea markets a magnet for collectors. Organisers say visitors can expect an ever-changing selection of one-of-a-kind pieces sourced by dealers who travel widely across Britain and Europe in search of forgotten gems.
The launch marks the first time the Hackney Flea Market community has expanded into West London. Just a short walk from Hammersmith Underground Station and moments from Hammersmith Bridge, the event is designed to be easily accessible for both local residents and visitors from across the city.
Alongside its distinctive setting, the market champions sustainable shopping and the circular economy, offering an alternative to the high street and celebrating independent traders whose stock is steeped in history. Organisers hope the new event will become a regular fixture, drawing in designers, home stylists and anyone with an eye for the unusual.
Further details and images are available on the event’s Instagram page.
